“Sri Rama Navami” was celebrated with grandeur and devotion at the Hare Krishna Golden Temple, Banjara Hills on Friday.  The celebrations began in the morning with the traditional Sri Sitarama Kalyanotsavam, performed amidst the chanting of sacred Vedic hymns, melodious bhajans, and soul-stirring kirtans. This divine ceremony was conducted to invoke blessings for universal peace, prosperity, and well-being.

In the evening, the grand Maha Pallaki Utsavam was held, drawing large gatherings of devotees. On the occasion, a Special Pravachan (Discourse) was delivered by Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji (M.Tech IIT) - President of Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad, depicting the life and glories of Sri Sita Ramachandra. He mentioned that the principle of Dharma—encompassing righteousness, duty and mastery over one’s desires and senses—finds its highest expression in the life of Lord Rama. Similar spiritually uplifting festivities were also organized at the upcoming iconic Hare Krishna Heritage Tower Project in Narsingi. All devotees were served a Prasadam feast, including lunch and dinner.
