Sridhar Babu flags off 8th Global Grace Cancer Run at Gachibowli stadium

The 8th edition of the Global Grace Cancer Run, organised by the Grace Cancer Foundation, was held at the Gachibowli Stadium on Sunday under the theme “Run for Grace, Screen for Life.” The event was formally inaugurated by Minister for IT and Industries, Duddilla Sridhar Babu.

Speaking at the launch, the Minister emphasised that raising awareness about cancer is a shared social responsibility, as the disease continues to impact millions across the world. He reiterated the State government’s firm commitment to building a “Healthy Telangana”, asserting that the government is working with sincerity and determination to ensure accessible and quality healthcare for all.

“Health is the greatest wealth. Every individual must adopt a healthy lifestyle and strive to live a stress-free life,” the Minister said. He lauded the Grace Cancer Foundation for its sustained efforts to spread cancer awareness and urged more voluntary and social organisations to come forward to organise such public health initiatives.

Assuring full support from the government, he stated that Telangana remains committed to partnering with organisations that work toward preventive healthcare and public awareness. The event witnessed participation from Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Vakiti Sridhar, Chief Minister’s Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Sports Authority of Telangana Chairman Shiv Sena Reddy, and Dr. Chinababu Sunkavalli, Founder of the Grace Cancer Foundation, along with several dignitaries, fitness enthusiasts, and volunteers.
