SRM University-AP wins three EDex Awards 2026 for Academic Excellence

SRM University-AP has won three prestigious honours at the EDex Awards 2026 (6th Edition) held in Chennai, earning recognition for excellence in engineering, liberal arts and business education.

Presented by Indianpreneur Magazine, the awards recognise institutions for outstanding contributions to education, innovation, research and student development. The university’s School of Engineering and Sciences (SEAS) was named Best Engineering College of the Year 2026 – South India, in recognition of its industry-oriented curriculum, research achievements, strong placement record and advanced engineering programmes.

The Easwari School of Liberal Arts (ESLA) received the Best Liberal Arts School of the Year 2026 award for excellence in multidisciplinary education, while the Paari School of Business (PSB) was honoured as the Best B-School of the Year 2026 – Andhra Pradesh for its future-focused curriculum integrating management education with innovation, technology, leadership and experiential learning.

Vice-Chancellor Ch. Satish Kumar welcomed the recognition, stating that the awards reflect the university’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, research and entrepreneurship. He said the institution would continue to strengthen its focus on holistic student development while expanding its academic and research initiatives.

The awards were received by C.V. Tomy, Dean of the School of Engineering and Sciences; Dr. Nafeesathul Basariya Mohamed Iqbal, Assistant Professor at the Paari School of Business; and Dr. Ayesha Parveen Haroon, Head of the Department of Psychology at the Easwari School of Liberal Arts.

University officials said the recognition reinforces SRM University-AP’s growing reputation as a multidisciplinary institution offering globally relevant education. They added that the honours reflect the university’s emphasis on academic rigour, industry relevance, innovation and research, as it continues to expand collaborations with national and international academic and industry partners.
