The Telangana State Government has allocated Rs 205 crore for land acquisition to pave the way for the Mamnoor Airport’s construction. Warangal MP Dr. Kadiyam Kavya expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, emphasizing this as a significant leap toward fulfilling Warangal’s long-standing dream of having an operational airport.

Dr. Kavya praised the Congress-led government’s proactive efforts, which included securing clearance from the Central Government to bypass the 150-kilometer radius restriction. She stressed that the fund release represents the government's strong commitment to the project.

‘This is a historic moment for Warangal,’ Dr. Kavya stated, acknowledging the decades of waiting by the city’s residents. She urged the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation to act swiftly to support the project’s progress. Once completed, the Mamnoor Airport is expected to boost connectivity and economic growth, solidifying Warangal’s position as an important cultural and historical hub.
