Suravaram Pratap Reddy Telugu University (SPTU) organized the prestigious Pratibha Puraskar Awards 2024, marking a spectacular highlight of its annual celebrations.

The event celebrated excellence by honoring 12 distinguished individuals for their outstanding contributions in the fields of art, literature, and education.

Telangana's Minister for Labour, Employment, and Factories, Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy, was the chief guest for the occasion. He presented the awards to the honorees and shared his thoughts, commending the university's commitment to promoting culture, language, and the arts. "By recognizing and celebrating talent, we lay the foundation for societal advancement," he stated in his address.

A special moment at the event was the unveiling of the new official logo of Telugu University, designed by Lakkaraju Narender from the Chitralekhana (Art) department. In appreciation of his artistic contribution, the University awarded Narender a cash prize of Rs 20,116, a shawl, and a certificate of recognition.

In a humble gesture, Narender chose to donate the entire cash prize to Nataka Rangam Sri Duppala Sriramulu, acknowledging the senior artist’s influence on his own creative journey.

The event also featured a cultural program and was attended by the University Registrar, faculty members, students, and other distinguished guests, making it a memorable occasion.
