TDP MP from Amalapuram G.M. Harish Balayogi on Thursday participated in a special programme hosted by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.

The event, organised on 1 January 2026, marked a major milestone under the Government of India’s Skilling for AI Readiness (SOAR) initiative. Secretary of the Skill Development Ministry, Debashree Mukherjee, had officially invited the MP to attend the national programme recognising the completion of AI learning modules by Members of Parliament and select school students.

 President of India  Droupadi Murmu conferred certificates upon MPs and students who successfully completed the SOAR Artificial Intelligence training. MP Harish Balayogi received his certificate along with several fellow Members of Parliament who completed the program. 

The collective recognition highlighted the growing involvement of lawmakers in championing emerging tech and future-skilling initiatives.The programme also saw the launch of the #SkillTheNation Challenge, aimed at boosting large-scale participation in future-ready skill development and innovation.

MP Harish Balayogi appreciated the national effort to equip youth with cutting-edge AI capabilities and reaffirmed his support for initiatives that strengthen India’s future workforce.
