As part of the Dasara festival celebrations, Governor Jishnu Dev Varma performed Ayudha Puja and Vahana Puja at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday. The traditional rituals involved offering prayers to the weapons of the security personnel and to all vehicles within the Raj Bhavan premises.

The special ceremony was held near the temple inside the Raj Bhavan and saw the participation of senior officers and other staff members, who joined the Governor in the prayers. Emphasizing the spirit of the festival, the Governor took time to personally extend his warm wishes to all officers and staff present. The observance highlighted the cultural and ceremonial traditions associated with Dasara, reflecting reverence for both duty and devotion in the Raj Bhavan community.
