Babu extends wishes

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu conveyed his heartfelt greetings to the Telangana government on the occasion of the prestigious “Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025.” Sharing his message on X, the Chief Minister wished for the event’s grand success and highlighted its significance for the region.

“Heartiest congratulations to the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025. I hope this platform paves new paths for growth, innovation, and progress in the state of Telangana,” Chandrababu Naidu wrote in his post.

Shivakumar calls it a roadmap for South India

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar  lauded the Telangana Vision Document 2047, describing it as an excellent resource not only for Telangana but for the entire South India region.

“Telangana is thinking globally, and this is the biggest vision for the next generation. He praised that this is possible only with the Congress government and stated that Bengaluru and Hyderabad are key when talking about India's technology.” He added, "People say Hyderabad and Bengaluru are competitors, but we are not competitors—we support each other and compete with the world," DK Shivakumar remarked.

South India contributes 30 to 35 percent to the national GDP, with Karnataka and Telangana playing key roles, he noted.

"Karnataka will cooperate for the development of Telangana and South India. Bengaluru holds 40 percent of India's IT exports. Even as a small state, Telangana has a great share. 1.3 million Indian engineers work in cities like California," Shivakumar informed.

Bengaluru, Hyderabad can support each other

We are not competitors. We support each other. We grow each other and build better India and the entire world," he said.

Quoting late Ratan Tata that one has to walk together if he/she wants to walk far, he suggested working together to make Bengaluru and Hyderabad progress fast.

While 13 lakh engineers work in California in the US, 25 lakh engineers work in Bengaluru, he said."Even Telangana, Hyderabad has a very big potential. So, both of us will work together," he said. With the human resources available in the southern states, no other country can compete with India, Shivakumar said.

WEF endorses Telangana’s roadmap

World Economic Forum (WEF) Managing Director and Head of the Centre for Frontier Technologies, Jeremy Jurgens, has lauded the Telangana Rising Vision, describing it as a global model for people-centric, future-ready development.

Addressing the Telangana Rising Global Summit virtually, Jurgens said the WEF has closely followed and partnered with Telangana for several years, noting the State’s emergence as a global hub for IT, finance, and life sciences. He said this strong foundation positions Telangana uniquely to realise its ambitious growth trajectory. He highlighted that what distinguishes the Telangana Rising Vision is not only its focus on large-scale industrial infrastructure projects — such as AI City, Future City and a robust innovation ecosystem — but also its core emphasis on people. “The focus on women, youth, farmers, and integrating them into a clear, systematic plan to develop into a USD 3 trillion economy truly stood out,” he said.

Jurgens stated that the WEF sees Telangana’s model as one that can inspire cities and regions worldwide on how to unlock human potential and drive social and economic prosperity. He reaffirmed WEF’s commitment to deepen collaboration with the State across key frontier areas. Inviting Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to the World Economic Forum at Davos, Jurgens also announced WEF’s participation in BioAsia 2026. “We look forward to continuing this journey with Telangana as it advances its Vision 2047,” he added.
