Mahabubnagar: A three-day workshop on “Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE)” began on Wednesday at Jayaprakash Narayan Engineering College in Mahabubnagar. The program is jointly organized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, and the School Innovation Council. AICTE Startup Fellow Sagar Hariramani graced the inaugural ceremony as Chief Guest.
In his address, Hariramani stressed that innovation must begin at the school level. He highlighted how fostering creativity and design thinking among students lays the foundation for groundbreaking research and future discoveries.
College Chairman Ravi Kumar welcomed the participants, noting the college's entry into its 30th year and pride in hosting this significant AICTE-sponsored initiative. The boot camp saw enthusiastic participation from 170 principals, headmasters, and faculty members from Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal, Wanaparthy and Vikarabad districts.
