Two DSPs of Andhra Police killed in road accident in Hyderabad

Tragedy struck the Andhra Pradesh Police on Saturday when two Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) were killed in a road accident near Hyderabad. Two other officers, including a senior official, sustained injuries.

The DSPs were travelling from Vijayawada to Hyderabad for official duties when their car collided with a road divider. According to police reports, the crash occurred as the driver attempted to avoid hitting another vehicle that suddenly braked in front of them near Choutuppal. After striking the divider, the car veered onto the opposite side of the road, where it was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

The two DSPs, who served in the Intelligence Security Wing of the Andhra Pradesh Police, died at the spot. An Additional Superintendent of Police and the car's driver were injured and are currently receiving treatment at a private hospital. Their condition is stable, with doctors reporting that they are out of danger.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and opposition leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy both expressed their condolences, mourning the loss of the officers in this tragic road incident.
