Two held with 16 kg of Ganja in Secunderabad

The Special Task Force arrested two men near Alpha Hotel in Secunderabad on Saturday for possessing 16.054 kilograms of ganja, valued at Rs 8 lakh. The accused identified as Murali Naik and Kalacharan both natives of Odisha were reportedly in the city to sell the contraband to drug suppliers based in Mumbai. Police said the duo was waiting for the Mumbai handlers to collect the consignment when they were apprehended.
According to officials, the two suspects had travelled to Hyderabad from their hometown in Odisha by the Konark Express. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
