To promote agricultural loans, Union Bank of India (UBI) is conducting outreach camps across various districts of the country under the banner ‘Agri Rise Outreach’.
These camps aim to create awareness among farmers, women’s self-help groups, and those engaged in allied agricultural activities about loan disbursement, new loan schemes, and subsidies.
As part of this initiative, an event was organized under the supervision of the local Jadcherla branch of Union Bank of India in Mahbubnagar district. Through various Union Bank branches in Mahbubnagar, a total of Rs 5.25 crores in loans were disbursed to account holders.
Speaking at the event, A Muralikrishna, Deputy Regional Head from the Union Bank of India Mahbubnagar Regional Office, stated that the outreach program was not limited to Mahbubnagar district alone, but was conducted through all branches in the region. Around Rs 25 crores in loans were distributed, and awareness was provided on various new loan schemes available through the bank to farmers and women’s groups, encouraging them to utilize these schemes effectively.
The event was also attended by T Rajesh Babu, Chief Manager of Union Bank of India, Amaranath, Manager of the local Union Bank of India branch, District Additional PD Jojappa, and APM Malyanayak.
