In a significant push towards inclusive cultural exchange, Minister for Tourism Jupally Krishna Rao will formally launch the Adivasi Tourism Exposure programme on Wednesday. The Minister is scheduled to flag off the inaugural convoy from Gondu Guda in Utnoor mandal at 6:00 AM.

The initiative, curated by the Telangana Tourism department, aims to provide a comprehensive study tour for 650 tribal participants from the Utnoor region of Adilabad district. The programme is designed to bridge the geographical and cultural divide by showcasing the historical heritage and modern infrastructure of Hyderabad.

To ensure seamless logistics and personalised attention, the department has organised the tour into three distinct phases. The batch 1 will commence April 22, second batch on April 23 and third batch is scheduled on April 25.

Each batch, comprising 200 to 250 participants, will travel in a fleet of five air-conditioned buses. The two-day itinerary offers a curated mix of heritage and modern landmarks, including the Hyderabad International Airport, the majestic Golconda Fort, Charminar, Lumbini Park, and the arts village, Shilparamam.

The government has made extensive arrangements for the comfort of the participants. Accommodation and hospitality services have been centralised at the Taramati Baradari heritage resort, providing the tribal delegates with an immersive experience of the state’s hospitality.

The programme is expected to provide the Adivasi community with vital exposure to the state’s capital, fostering a deeper connection with the historical and developmental narrative of Telangana.
