The first anniversary of the Gau Pratishtha Movement, inspired by Paramaradhya Parmadharmadhish Uttaramnaya Jyotishpeethadheeshwar Jagadguru Swami Shri 1008 Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj, was grandly celebrated in Hyderabad on Thursday.

The event was organized by the Vedic Global Foundation and marked as ‘Gau Pratishtha Flag Hoisting Day.’

The program was graced by Chief Guest C L Rajam and presided over by Shri Narendra Chaturvedi, Gau Sansad Pradesh In-charge of Telangana. The ceremony included the hoisting of a new Gau Flag, ceremoniously replaced by the Chief Guest, following Vedic prayers and cow worship by devotees from across the state.

Additionally, four newly appointed Gau Members of Parliament pledged to protect cow life and raise awareness on cow service include Mahant Shri Yogi Das Ji – Hyderabad, CH Suryaprakash Raju – Malkajgiri and A Laxman Reddy – Warangal and Jyoti Vaishnavi Devi – Secunderabad.

The event was attended by prominent figures including Vice President Smt. Mamta Chaturvedi and various saints, social workers, and cow devotees. The program was conducted in full adherence to Vedic traditions.
