Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) on Saturday conducted a week long awareness program of ill effects of drug abuse. The program was launched by DGP Dr. Jitender in presence of Sandeep Shandilya, Director, TGANB and other officials at the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGICCC) building.
During the event, Dr Jitender highlighted the efforts of the Telangana police in curbing the drug menace in the society and sought cooperation from all stakeholders to put an end to the drug abuse. Around 2000 students from various educational institutions participated in the event.
Nine departments such as Mission Parivarthana, TGANB, Institute of Mental Health (IMH), Asha Hospital, Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB), Women Safety Wing, TASK, City Security Councils (Cyberabad, Rachakonda & Hyderabad) and CP Office, Security Wing set up stalls, to showcase their work for educating students and employees.
