Andhra Pradesh Technology Services (APTS) organized a ‘State-level Cyber Security Workshop’ at the Secretariat with all Government Departments to review the existing cyber security ecosystem and strengthen the State’s data protection framework. APTS Chairman Mannava Mohana Krishna attended the workshop as the Chief Guest. The workshop focused on “Strengthening Cyber Security Frameworks Across Government Systems for Securing State Data.” APTS Chairman Mannava Mohana Krishna said that under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister for Information Technology Nara Lokesh, the Andhra Pradesh Government is rapidly expanding digital governance and citizen-centric online services.

He mentioned that in this context, safeguarding sensitive government data—including citizens’ personal information, health records, education data, land records, welfare databases and financial information—has become one of the Government’s highest priorities. Mannava Mohana Krishna stressed that with cyber threats becoming increasingly sophisticated, Government Departments must focus on continuous monitoring, capacity building, regular training, awareness programmes and robust incident response mechanisms.

He said the Andhra Pradesh Government is committed to building a secure digital governance system that strengthens public trust. He further stated that the Government of India is conducting cyber security reviews across States in coordination with State Governments to strengthen cyber resilience. APTS Managing Director Mallavarapu Suryateja highlighted the need for continuous training, capacity building and adoption of advanced technologies to improve cyber security standards across Government Departments.
