Later, the CM interacted virtually with the health officers of the PHCs. Instructions have been issued to senior officials of the medical and health department to further expand the medical services.
"In the second phase, all Primary Health Centers across Chittoor district will be connected and the program will be extended across the state in third phase. Along with Ayushman Bharat, we will also coordinate the NTR Medical Service Scheme. By digitizing the health history of individuals, better medical services will be provided.” the Chief Minister stated. He also suggested that DIGINERV centre should also be linked to ANMs and Anganwadis.
Reduce medical expenses with technology
The Chief Minister suggested that medical expenses should be reduced by using modern technology. He said Rs 19,000 crore is being spent on healthcare in the budget and this can be reduced substantially through the use of technology. He suggested that action should be taken to ensure that the health of pregnant women is also constantly checked through cost-effective wearables. He also called for blood tests to be conducted every three months through mobile medical units.
Diginerv Centre services in the state in a phased manner
In collaboration with Tata and Gates Foundation, people will be able to avail the digital nerve centre services from 13 Primary Health Centers in Kuppam. The center will provide services such as timely diagnosis, appointment of medical professionals, personal counseling, etc. In the virtual mode, the patient will also be able to get medical professionals available and provide treatment. NTR Vaidya Seva scheme services and connectivity with private hospitals can also be done through the nerve center.
