Vow Telangana will see saffron government

metro india news  I nirmal : Telangana lo agile sarkar BJP ka banega, (the next govt in Telangana would be BJP) declared leaders with full throat on Monday. National General Secretary and Telangana in-charge Sunil Bansal, state president N. Ramachandra Rao, Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Nirmal MLA Maheshwar Reddy, and Malkajgiri MP Etela Rajender led a massive padayatra in Nirmal town, hitting out at the Congress-led India alliance for its “dushprachar” (negative propaganda) against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

The two-kilometre padayatra started from Shanthinagar Chowrasta and passed through Maremma Temple, Shivaji Chowk, Bus Depot and Chain Gate before culminating at Vivek Chowrasta. Despite intermittent rain, a huge sea of saffron flags, banners and cadres turned Nirmal into a festive zone. Party workers, MLAs, MPs and local leaders walked shoulder to shoulder, raising slogans of “Prajaswamya parirakshana BJP, Pradhan Mantri Narendra Modi” and supporting clean electoral rolls.

Addressing the public meeting afterwards, BJP state chief Ramachandra Rao questioned the real motive behind the Congress-India alliance’s opposition to SIR. “Congress is unable to accept the SIR process, which seeks to remove the names of deceased persons, duplicate voters and illegal immigrants from electoral rolls, and is therefore launching protests.

Is Rahul Gandhi’s agitation against SIR tantamount to supporting infiltrators and illegal voters? He must make his stand clear,” he demanded. He reminded that SIR was conducted 12 times when Congress was in power and asked how Congress won in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Telangana if SIR was anti-democracy. Rao accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of ignoring people’s issues and sending money to Delhi to save his chair, while announcing that BJP would soon launch large-scale chaitanya yatras (awareness marches) across the state.

Nirmal MLA and BJLP leader Maheshwar Reddy described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the heartbeat of the people and the leader who placed India on the global stage. He ridiculed Rahul Gandhi’s recent Delhi protest against SIR as “utter flop” and contrasted it with the successful democracy protection padayatras led by Amit Shah in Hyderabad and Sunil Bansal in Nirmal.

“Congress is spreading disinformation about the vital democratic right to vote by raising the slogan of ‘vote theft’. This is shameful. A BJP government will come to power in Telangana under Bansal’s leadership. Rahul Gandhi will never become Prime Minister,” Reddy declared. He charged both the previous BRS government and the present Congress regime with cheating farmers, women and employees and failing to fulfil even a single election promise.

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar hit hard at the “13 crore votes deleted” claim of the opposition. “Not just 13 crore, the BJP will not remove even 13 votes if they are eligible. We are conducting the SIR process based on the democratic principle of ‘one person, one vote’. It is shameful to launch a protest claiming ‘vote theft’ when the process seeks to remove illegal immigrants, deceased voters and duplicate entries. The Congress supported SIR 12 times during its previous rule but is opposing it now. This amounts to standing by infiltrators,” he said. Sanjay accused Revanth Reddy of completely failing in governance and circling around Rahul Gandhi only to protect his post, while Modi’s leadership has taken the country forward in every sector.

Malkajgiri MP Etela Rajender asserted that KCR’s rule is over and Revanth Reddy’s two-year tenure is also heading for an end. “In the coming elections, the BJP will put Telangana on the fast track to development with a double-engine government. What did the Congress achieve during its 70 years in power? In just 10 years, Modi has taken the country to the top position. The six guarantees have turned into 420 broken promises. Once the BJP comes to power, we will make KCR and Revanth return the money they looted and stashed away,” he warned.

Sunil Bansal, who also holds charge of Bengal and UP where BJP is in power, expressed confidence that Telangana would follow the same path under his leadership. Leaders including MP G. Nagesh, MLAs Pawar Ramarao Patil, Payyavula Sankar, Palvai Harish Babu, Rakesh Reddy, Dhanpal Suryanarayana Gupta, MLCs Malka Komuraiah, Anji Reddy, district president Ritesh Rathod and several senior leaders participated.
