Tamannaah and Diana brew bold dreams in Prime Video’s comedy-drama about friendship, hustle, and breaking barriers in a male-dominated world
Prime Video, India’s leading entertainment destination, has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming Hindi Original comedy-drama series Do You Wanna Partner. The series is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, with Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, and Apoorva Mehta serving as producers, and Somen Mishra and Archit Kumar as executive producers. It is directed by Collin D’Cunha and Archit Kumar, written by Nandini Gupta, Aarsh Vora, and Mithun Gangopadhyay, and created by Mithun Gangopadhyay and Nishant Nayak.
Headlined by Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty, the show also stars Jaaved Jaaferi, Nakuul Mehta, Shweta Tiwari, Neeraj Kabi, Sufi Motiwala, and Rannvijay Singha. Do You Wanna Partner will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on September 12, across India and in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
A bold, bubbly tale of friendship and hustle
The trailer offers a vibrant first look into the lives of best friends Shikha (Tamannaah Bhatia) and Anahita (Diana Penty), who venture into the start-up world with one daring idea — launching their own craft beer brand. The story promises a rollercoaster ride through beer moguls, mobsters, and unexpected chaos, as the duo tackles societal stereotypes and entrepreneurial challenges. At its core, the series celebrates female friendship, resilience, and the power of turning an audacious dream into reality.
“Do You Wanna Partner is one of the most layered, emotionally complex yet fun shows I’ve ever been a part of,” said Tamannaah Bhatia. “It celebrates female friendships and the spirit of sisterhood without turning it into a women-versus-men narrative. Playing Shikha has been a transformative experience, and I’m thrilled to reunite with Prime Video to share this courageous and exciting ride with audiences worldwide.”
Diana Penty added, “What drew me in was the authentic chemistry between the two female leads — something we rarely see explored with such depth. Playing Anahita, a resilient dream-chaser and loyal friend, has been empowering. This story celebrates not just business partnerships, but the unshakeable bonds of friendship.”
