Newly appointed Director of the Civil Supplies Department, Srivas Nupur Ajaykumar, IAS, paid a courtesy visit to State Minister for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Nadendla Manohar on Monday at the Civil Supplies Bhavan in Kanuru, Vijayawada.

During the meeting, the minister congratulated the officer on assuming charge and emphasized the need to strengthen the department in line with the government’s priorities. He advised that the Civil Supplies Department should function with greater transparency, efficiency, and speed in service delivery, particularly in implementing welfare schemes connected to public distribution and consumer protection.

Minister Nadendla Manohar underscored the importance of ensuring that essential commodities reach beneficiaries without delays or irregularities, while also improving grievance redressal mechanisms.Srivas Nupur Ajaykumar, a 2018-batch IAS officer, has taken charge as Director of Civil Supplies and Ex-Officio Deputy Secretary to the Government. She expressed her commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to her and working towards effective implementation of departmental programmes.
