war drums | Nothing would be left of them, Don says, posts Gulf map with US flag, blast pics
Washington: After Tehran's lukewarm response to the US's five-point list for Iran talks, Donald Trump issued a fresh warning. The US President warned there would not be anything left of Iran unless it agreed to a deal.
"For Iran, the clock is ticking, and they better get moving fast or there won't be anything left of them. Time is of the essence," Trump posted on Truth Social.
Trump's latest threat came after he spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday. The two leaders discussed the possibility of renewed fighting with Iran, while Trump also briefed Netanyahu on his recent visit to China, Israeli news outlet Kan reported.
Further, Trump flooded his Truth Social platform with AI-generated images of missile strikes on Iranian boats, outer space warfare and an American flag over Iran.
In a span of a few hours, Trump shared over 20 images, most of them threatening escalation of US military action against Iran. One image posted by the US leader showed a map of Iran with an American flag overlaid on it, while arrows pointed towards the Islamic republic from all sides. Another image featured a US drone striking Iranian fast boats alongside the caption, "bye bye, fast boats".
He posted a video showing a US warship targeting an Iranian plane, with a clip of himself on the side. In the five-second clip, Trump can be seen tapping on a table, acting as if he is typing on a computer, and saying, “ba ba ba ba... fire, boom”.
He also posted an image depicting himself in outer space beneath the title Space Force, surrounded by satellites while seemingly overseeing missile strikes from orbit.
In another image, he can be seen pushing a kill button on a spacecraft, with multiple screens in the background showing missile strikes and what appeared to be a nuclear blast.
