Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday launched an ambitious wave of MSME-driven industrial growth across Andhra Pradesh, reaffirming his government’s commitment to making the state the MSME powerhouse of India. Speaking after inaugurating the MSME Industrial Park at Peda Eerlapadu in Kanigiri constituency of Prakasam district, the Chief Minister announced that ‘Plug-and-Play’ industrial parks would be established in all 175 constituencies, creating lakhs of jobs and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship.

The Chief Minister virtually inaugurated and laid foundations for 49 MSME parks spread across 17 districts, developed at a cost of ₹873 crore over 868 acres, and simultaneously launched 38 mega industrial units involving ₹25,256 crore investments. Interacting with industrialists and MSME entrepreneurs from various districts, Chandrababu said the initiative marked a new era of inclusive industrial progress and a decisive step toward economic decentralization.

“Today, we are inaugurating and laying the foundation for 99 companies involving ₹2.65 lakh crore investments that will create jobs for 2 lakh people. By January, 70 more MSME parks will come up. Our goal is to produce one entrepreneur from every family,” Chandrababu asserted.

Highlighting the state’s futuristic vision, the Chief Minister announced that India’s first Quantum Computing Centre would be launched in Amaravati by January. “Technology will shape the future, and Andhra Pradesh will lead that change,” he said. The CM detailed ongoing efforts in solar energy, green hydrogen, biofuel, and drone manufacturing, revealing plans for a ‘Drone City’ in Orvakal and a semiconductor industry soon to be established in the state.

Chandrababu further said that during the CII Partnership Summit on November 14-15, the state expects to sign MoUs worth Rs 10 lakh crore, generating over 8 lakh employment opportunities. In a strongly worded critique of the previous government, Chandrababu accused it of driving away investors and destroying Andhra Pradesh’s brand image.

He alleged that the earlier rulers cancelled power purchase agreements (PPAs) and paid ₹9,000 crore for unused electricity, money that could have funded vital infrastructure projects. “We inherited a broken state. In 17 months, we revived the brand ‘AP’ and restored investor confidence,” he said.

The CM cited Google’s ₹1 lakh crore investment in Visakhapatnam as proof of global trust in the current administration. “Whatever policy the Centre introduces, Andhra Pradesh will be the first to implement it,”

he declared, crediting Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan for his cooperation and Minister Lokesh for his tireless efforts.

Reiterating his vision of inclusive prosperity, Chandrababu said wealth creation must involve all citizens. “Ideas are the new assets. We aim to nurture 1 lakh women entrepreneurs and encourage farmers to turn into industrialists through FPOs,” he said.

The government has set a target of generating 5 lakh jobs through MSMEs and aims to make Andhra Pradesh the East Coast Logistics Hub by developing ports and refining infrastructure. “A ₹1 lakh crore BPCL refinery near Ramayapatnam Port is coming up. We are moving towards 15% growth rate and higher per capita income,” he added.

Promising special attention to drought-hit and underdeveloped regions, Chandrababu announced that the Veligonda Project would be completed by 2026 to supply water to Prakasam district.

“Kanigiri will soon be known as Kanakapattanam. We will bring Godavari waters to drought-prone areas like Yerragondapalem, Giddalur, and Markapuram. The delays happened only because we were out of power in 2019. We will not let such hardships return,” he assured.

Calling upon the youth to step forward with creativity and vision, Chandrababu promised full government support for entrepreneurs through Plug-and-Play parks equipped with power, water, and roads. “We are not just giving jobs, we are making job creators,” he said.

The event was attended by MP Magunta Srinivas Reddy, MLA Ugra Narasimha Reddy, APIIC Chairman Ramraju, and several local representatives.

“Think Bold, Dream Big, Build Andhra Pradesh,” with these words, Chandrababu Naidu launched a renewed mission for industrial rebirth and inclusive growth in Andhra Pradesh.
