Telangana is set to take its long-term growth vision to the global stage, with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy presenting the Telangana Rising 2047 roadmap to CEOs, global industry leaders, and policymakers at the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026 in Davos. The State government will host an exclusive “Telangana Rising” special event on the evening of January 20 as part of the WEF annual meeting, scheduled from January 19 to 23.

The high-level programme is aimed at showcasing Telangana’s future-ready development agenda, investor-friendly ecosystem, and innovation-led growth model. It follows the launch of the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document in December and the strong investment momentum generated at the recent Global Summit. At Davos, the State will highlight how Telangana is positioning itself as a preferred global investment destination across sectors such as information technology, life sciences, manufacturing, renewable energy, and emerging technologies.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will outline Telangana’s 2047 vision, focusing on inclusive, sustainable, and accelerated growth over the next two decades. The presentation will detail the State’s CURE, PURE, and RARE framework, which underpins policy-making and long-term planning, and explain how these guiding principles translate into tangible opportunities for global businesses.

A key focus of the event will be Telangana’s game changer projects, including Bharat Future City, Musi River rejuvenation, the Regional Ring Road (RRR), the Regional Ring Railway, and the creation of large-scale manufacturing zones. These initiatives are designed to strengthen infrastructure, enhance urban liveability, expand industrial capacity, and drive balanced regional development.

During the event, the Telangana government will also formally unveil the Telangana Life Sciences Policy 2026–2030 and announce the launch of the Telangana AI Hub, underscoring the State’s commitment to innovation, research, and technology-led economic growth aligned with the 2047 vision.
