Collector assures motorized tricycle to disabled woman

Nagarkurnool Collector Hemant Keshav Patil assured a motorized tricycle to a differently-abled woman after interacting with her during a visit to the Nayinipalli Maisamma Temple in Peddakothapalli mandal on Saturday.

The Collector, accompanied by District SP Dr. Sangram Singh G. Patil, met local residents and received their grievances during the visit. Devamma, a resident of Chinnakothapalli village, explained the difficulties she faces in travelling because of her disability and requested assistance.

Responding immediately, the Collector directed officials to register her details online and process her application for a motorized three-wheeler in accordance with government guidelines. He instructed the concerned departments to complete the formalities at the earliest.

The Collector and the SP also enquired whether Devamma was receiving a disability pension and other welfare benefits for which she is eligible. Officials were directed to ensure that all eligible persons with disabilities receive government assistance without unnecessary delay. The Collector said addressing people's grievances at the grassroots level and ensuring timely delivery of welfare benefits remain key priorities of the district administration.
