Govt committed to promote quality technical education: Minister Raja Narasimha

Damodar Raja Narasimha, Telangana Minister for Health, Medical & Family Welfare, Science & Technology appreciated the rapid development of the JNTUH University College of Engineering and JNTUH University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sultanpur campus and reiterated the government's support for strengthening infrastructure and promoting quality technical education. He inaugurated college buses, VLSI System Design & Simulation Laboratory, Smart Computing Laboratory and Computer Applications in Pharmacy at the colleges on Saturday.

The buses were donated by Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Private Limited under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The newly established laboratories are equipped with modern facilities to provide hands-on training in semiconductor technology, VLSI design, Artificial Intelligence, IoT and other emerging technologies.

Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha further stated that Rs 57 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of the JNTUH University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Andole Campus. Prof. T. Kishen Kumar Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, JNTUH, thanked the Minister for his guidance and support. He also expressed gratitude to Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Private Limited, G. A. Ramakrishna and N. Raja for their CSR contribution.
