Mahabubabad District Collector Sneha Sabarish conducted an extensive tour of Bayyaram Mandal on Saturday, carrying out surprise inspections at Mandal Parishad Primary Schools, Zilla Parishad High Schools, and anganwadi centers. During the visit, the Collector personally interacted with students and reviewed the functioning of educational and childcare institutions. Addressing officials and staff, the Collector stated that the district has a total of 1,032 educational institutions serving approximately 1.90 lakh students.
She directed school authorities to strictly implement the government-prescribed diet menu and ensure that students receive breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as per nutritional guidelines. Emphasizing the importance of quality education, the Collector instructed teachers to utilize digital classrooms effectively and provide lessons in a manner that is easily understood by students. The Collector noted that under the ongoing Badibata school enrolment campaign, 6,709 students have enrolled so far.
She called for intensified awareness campaigns to inform parents about the facilities and benefits available in government educational institutions and urged all staff members to work towards increasing enrolment rates across the district. She further directed school authorities to maintain high standards of sanitation on a daily basis, provide safe drinking water, ensure uninterrupted electricity supply and keep toilets, dining halls, and classrooms clean and hygienic at all times.
