District Collector Sneha Shabarish, accompanied by Additional Collector (Revenue) K. Anil Kumar participated on Friday in the video conference conducted by State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sudarshan Reddy to review the implementation of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and assess preparations at the district level. The CEO directed district officials to conduct the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in a systematic and transparent manner to ensure the accuracy of electoral rolls.
During the review, Sudarshan Reddy emphasized the importance of efficiently carrying out all activities related to the SIR process, including the distribution and collection of enumeration forms. He instructed officials to ensure that every stage of the exercise is conducted meticulously and in accordance with established guidelines. The CEO also highlighted the need for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to have a thorough understanding of all aspects of the revision process. Proper training and awareness among field-level staff, he said, are essential for the successful completion of the exercise.
Speaking during the conference, District Collector Sneha Shabarish assured the CEO that the SIR process would be carried out in a comprehensive and error-free manner in the district. She stated that the administration would continuously monitor the exercise at the grassroots level to ensure smooth implementation.
