Medchal-Malkajgiri District Collector Manu Choudhary conducted a surprise inspection at the UPHC Center in Moosapet, Kukatpally Mandal on Monday, accompanied by District Medical and Health Officer Uma Gowri. He emphasized the importance of public awareness around hygiene and the need to immediately consult nearby health centers for any medical issues to ensure timely treatment.

During the visit, the Collector reviewed patient OP registrations and verified online entries, inquiring about the daily footfall. He assessed the regularity of ANC, BP, and sugar tests, and evaluated fever surveys related to seasonal illnesses. Dengue testing procedures were also closely examined.

The availability of essential medicines was verified, with a special focus on checking expiry dates. The Collector inquired about TB, leprosy, and non-communicable disease cases, and inspected lab records to understand the number of tests conducted daily. He also directed that the UPHC board should be clearly visible to the public.
