Several leaders and party workers from Uppal and Malkajgiri constituencies formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of State President N. Ramchander Rao in the party state office in Nampally on Tuesday.

Addressing the gathering, Ramchander Rao highlighted the BJP’s strong performance in the Rajya Sabha elections, stating that the party’s rise from 12 to 22 seats reflects increasing public trust. He congratulated BJP National President Nitin Nabin and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on their election to the Rajya Sabha.

He strongly criticized the Congress party over its demand to ban the RSS, calling it baseless and influenced by biased international reports. Questioning Congress’s stance, he asked whether it would also support action against national institutions like RAW.

Ramchander Rao further accused Congress of appeasement politics, particularly over its silence on the alleged insult to “Vande Mataram” in the Assembly. He urged the state government to uphold constitutional duties under Article 51A and take appropriate action, reiterating BJP’s commitment to national values and accountability.
