PCC State Legal Coordinator and All India Professional Congress Telangana MSME State Head Pasupuleti Shashank strongly condemned the false and malicious propaganda regarding his association with the Deccan Maanav Seva Samiti (DMSS). Addressing a press conference in Secunderabad on Wednesday, he clarified that he has always been, and will continue to be, a dedicated worker of the Indian National Congress.  Shashank appealed to people not to attribute political motives to DMSS, explaining that it is a non-political social service organization.

He said he believes in the leadership of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and is working towards strengthening the Congress Party under the guidance of Sanathnagar Constituency In-charge Dr. Kota Neelima. He further explained that DMSS, established in 1926, has remained a non-political voluntary organization for nearly a century.  The organization has been playing a key role in organizing the historic Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu celebrations and has been serving lakhs of devotees every year with the support of the Telangana Government.

Shashank also said that his family has been associated with DMSS for nearly six to seven decades through social service and that members of the organization belong to different communities and political backgrounds, and every year its office-bearers are elected democratically. This year, MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav was elected President based on the majority opinion of the members, while he was elected as the General Secretary, he informed.
