Cyberabad Police successfully recovered 1,061 lost and stolen mobile phones worth Rs 3.2 crore in just 45 days. This recovery marks the 9th phase of their ongoing operations and was carried out across five Central Crime Station (CCS) zones: Madhapur (240), Balanagar (188), Medchal (195), Rajendranagar (233), and Shamshabad (205). The recovered phones were tracked through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal and handed over to their rightful owners during a ceremony held on Thursday, at the Cyberabad Police Commissioner’s Office.

He also urged the public to stay vigilant against cyber fraud and avoid suspicious links. ADCP K Ram Kumar highlighted the critical role mobile phones play in our lives, storing personal, business, and financial data. Since 2023, Cyberabad Police have recovered 13,423 phones, with Telangana leading nationwide recoveries.
