Film producer V. Venkataramana Reddy popularly known as Dil Raju took charge as the Chairman of Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) on Wednesday. He took oath on Wednesday amidst the chanting of Vedic scholars at the TFDC office in Masabtank. On this occasion, Special Commissioner for Information and Public Relations Dr. Harish congratulated Dil Raju with bouquets. Many film industry personalities attended the program and congratulated Dil Raju.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that he will work for the development of the film industry in Telangana and will give due priority to resolving problems by being a bridge between the Telugu film industry and the state government. He said that he will try to ensure that more film shootings take place in Telangana and that film producers get shooting permits through a single window.
