Dr. Kishore Nuthalapati appointed as Regional Director of PRMIA

Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA) held a Seminar and a Symposium on Saturday in the premises of NI-MSME Institute, Govt of India, Hyderabad. About 120 participants including bankers, professionals, consultants, students, and financial journalists attended the event.

The event is addressed by K Venugopal Patnaik, Chief General Manager of SBI and Director PRMIA Global Board, Satyabrata Mohapatra, General Manager of SBI and Director State Bank Staff College, Prof. Kembai Srinivasa Rao, Professor of IIRM, former senior banker, and former Director of banks’ academic institutions, Vijayalakshmi Muddu, General Manager of SBI and Dr. Nirakar Pradhan Former CEO of PRMIA India.

In the presence of the senior bankers and directors, PRMIA announced the appointment of Dr. Kishore Nuthalapati as the new Regional Director of Hyderabad Chapter which covers Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states. In this volunteering leadership position, Dr. Kishore will closely work with the Steering Committee, CEO, and the Board of Directors to promote the risk management profession in India.

Dr. Kishore Nuthalapati has been associated with PRMIA for more than 15 years including as a volunteer, has worked closely with national CEOs, and addressed many events of PRMIA. Dr. Kishore is an Economist and a Corporate Finance Professional. He is an active policy contributor to regulators. He is an Honorary Fellow at MCRHRDIT of Govt of Telangana, and is associated with the parallel organizations supporting the United Nations by contributing policy suggestions.

PRMIA, is one of the world’s only two Risk Management professional organizations recognized by the central banks worldwide. Risk management certificate holders are eligible for appointments by the regulators, commercial banks, investment companies, mutual funds, insurance companies, rating agencies, consultants, NBFCs, Asset Managers, IT companies, Fintech companies, and corporations. This non-profit organization has 56 chapters globally including 6 in India having a total 50,000 members worldwide.
