India and Bhutan share strong and enduring ties: Sudhakar Dalaila

India’s Ambassador to Bhutan, Sudhakar Dalaila on Saturday said ‘India and Bhutan share strong and enduring ties. An Indian delegation that attended the International Happiness Day conference in Thimphu on March 20 met with India's ambassador for discussions on bilateral relations and other key issues.

Ambassador Sudhakar Dalaila highlighted Bhutan’s initiatives to enhance citizens’ happiness and acknowledged India’s significant role in the country’s development.

Mallepalli Laxmaiah, International President of the Association of Buddhist Tour Operators (ABTO), urged better facilities for Buddhist tourists from India and greater public awareness of the Happiness Index in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and beyond. The meeting was attended by former UGC Chairman S K Thorat, former Telangana Higher Education Council Chairman R Limbadri, Dr. Kanakaraju, Korivi Vinay Kumar, Advocate Dharmarjun, Edla Sanjeev, and others.
