EO Shyamala Rao spells out future plans for TTD

Proposal has been sent to make 150 free trips daily through RTC on Tirumala hill

Anti-drone system is being brought in to prevent drones from flying over Tirumala

Solar-powered CCTV cameras will be installed on the ghat roads for better surveillance

Aadhaar authentication system is being introduced to curb middlemen

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) Executive Officer(EO)  J. Shyamala Rao spoke to the media on Friday about the reforms and future plans brought about in Tirumala in the last one year. He stated that a proposal has been sent to make 150 free trips daily through RTC on Tirumala hill. "We are looking for state-of-the-art scanners to completely scan cars and buses at Alipiri checkpoint and an anti-drone system is being brought in to prevent drones from flying over Tirumala.”  he said.

The TTD EO said that the devotees at Tirumala are being provided with quality annaprasadam F the raw materials that meet the standards set by the Food Safety and Standards Authority (FSSAI) are used for the manufacture of annaprasadam. He also informed  that Solar-powered CCTV cameras will be installed on the ghat roads for better surveillance and that TTD's assets and agricultural lands will be monitored by a Deputy EO level officer. 

He said the Aadhaar authentication system is being introduced to curb middlemen and that in coming days receipts for laddoos can be obtained through kiosks. EO Shyamala Rao said that  devotees can also know the time taken for darshan on slotted sarvadarshanam (SSD), sarvadarshanam, srivani tickets in respect of TTD and the refund status of the rooms on WhatsApp itself. He added that A chatbot is being introduced to help and clear the queries of the pilgrims.
