GITAM Innovation Challenge-Invites young Innovators

Metro India News | Hyderabad : GITAM Deemed to be University, through its Venture Development Centre (VDC), is organizing the sixth edition of the GITAM Innovation Challenge (GIC) 2026, with the Bower School of Entrepreneurship as the Title Sponsor.  With a cumulative prize pool and ecosystem value of over Rs 50 lakh, the challenge invites school students (Classes 10–12), undergraduate students and graduates from 2025 onwards to present innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges.

GIC 2026 will follow a structured journey comprising online screening, a virtual bootcamp, personalized mentoring and online semi-finals on 20 and 21 November 2026, culminating in the National Grand Finale on 11 December 2026 at GITAM Hyderabad. The challenge will encourage innovations across key themes, including Climate Tech, Sustainability, Agriculture, FoodTech, HealthTech, Biotechnology, DeepTech, Smart Manufacturing, Sports and Fitness, and D2C and Consumer Brands. Registrations are open until 7 November 2026. Interested teams can register through the official GIC 2026 portal.
