Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Damodar Rajanarsimha, stated that Telangana’s transformation into a Global Education Hub will be driven by the core values of knowledge sharing and skill enhancement, rather than commercialization. Speaking at a high-level panel discussion on “Telangana as a Global Education Hub” at the Global Summit here today, the Minister asserted that the state’s education system would not be shaped by profit motives.

Knowledge over Commerce

Clarifying the government's stance, Rajanarsimha said, "In the Global Education Hub we are building, the highest priority will be given to knowledge sharing and skill training. We will ensure that the education system does not become one that solely aims for profit generation. Our focus is on creating a skilled, innovative, and productive workforce that contributes to the state’s goal of a $3 trillion economy by 2047."
