Former minister and BRS MLA T. Harish Rao on Friday met Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao at the Secretariat, where he submitted two memorandums —one on behalf of former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and another in his personal capacity.
The purpose of these submissions was to request access to copies of the comprehensive 665-page report from the PC Ghosh Commission regarding the Kaleshwaram project. The Justice PC Ghosh Commission presented its findings to the State government on July 31, holding former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao accountable, both directly and indirectly, for the purported irregularities associated with the Kaleshwaram project. Furthermore, the Cabinet decided to present the report to the Assembly during the upcoming monsoon session for further discussion.
BRS MLA Harish Rao stated that since the Ghosh Commission delivered its report to the government, his party has been advocating for the release of the full report to facilitate a thorough examination.
Harish Rao was accompanied by BRS MLC Deshapathi Srinivas, MLAs Kaleru Venkatesh, Mutha Gopal and Bandaru Lakshma Reddy and other leaders.
