Himachal Pradesh CS visits RTGS control centre

Himachal Pradesh Chief Secretary  Prabodh Saxena on Wednesday lauded the performance of the Real-Time Governance Society (RTGS) of Andhra Pradesh Government for its performance.  He  visited the RTGS Command Control Centre at secretariat where he was welcomed by RTGS CEO Prakhar Jain who explained in detail the functioning of RTGS . Prakhar Jain said that the RTGS system was created out of the innovative ideas of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. 

CEO  Prakhar Jain said that RTGS  is acting as a bridge between the people and the government of Andhra Pradesh, which is the first state in the country to have such a system. He spoke about the implementation of government schemes and technical support provided by RTGS to government departments to ensure that the fruits of THE programs reach the people without any disruption. He said that through the “Aware” section, people are being provided with information about the environment in real time. Prakhar Jain mentioned that the RTGS is also monitoring the process of resolving complaints received from the public in real time.

He said the state government has brought in a WhatsApp government in the name of 'Mana Mitra' so that no one has to go to government offices for their work. Through this, 455 types of services are already being provided. He said that more than 1,000 services will be provided to the people through WhatsApp governance. Later, Prabodh Saxena said that it is heartening to see such a system being set up by a state government. With the help of such technology, amazing results can be achieved, he said. On the occasion, Finance Ministry's Additional Secretary J. Nivas, RTGS Deputy CEO M. Madhuri and others participated.
