A fire broke out at a furniture shop in Nampally on Saturday. The Telangana Integrated Command Control received the information and immediately alerted HMWSSB headquarters to arrange water tankers for firefighting.
Following the alert, the General Manager of Red Hills Division 4 of HMWSSB was notified, and water supply was quickly mobilized. Currently, five tankers from the Red Hills and Boggulakunta tanker filling stations are providing water through 12 drips, with additional tankers being deployed to the site as needed.
At the location, two managers are coordinating with police and fire officials to control and extinguish the flames. Their timely intervention has helped prevent the fire from spreading further.
HMWSSB staff and officials, led by MD Ashok Reddy, commended the General Manager and the managers for their prompt response. Authorities have also directed that water supply through tankers continue in coordination with the line department until the fire is fully brought under control.
Thanks to the swift action and coordination between HMWSSB, fire officials, and police, the situation is being managed efficiently, preventing major damage and ensuring the safety of nearby properties.
