Hyderabad Public School Begumpet hosts “ Investiture Ceremony 2026”

The Hyderabad Public School (HPS), Begumpet celebrated its Investiture Ceremony 2026 at the school's dining hall on Thursday, entrusting its newly elected Student Council with leadership responsibilities for the academic year. The event was graced by Rear Admiral Srinivas Maddula, VSM, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Foreign Cooperation and Intelligence), as the Chief Guest. Rear Admiral Srinivas shared valuable insights on leadership, discipline, perseverance and the importance of serving the nation.

The student leaders pledged to uphold the school's ethos, discharge their duties with sincerity, and serve as role models for their peers. The ceremony was attended by members of the HPS management, faculty, parents, alumni, and students. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Skand Bali, Principal, The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet described the ceremony as “much more than a ceremonial tradition”, and termed it as the beginning of a journey of responsibility, character and service.
