With nearly 40% of adults in Hyderabad affected by fatty liver disease, STAR Hospitals has launched “The Endangered Organ” Liver Rulebook, a preventive initiative built from real patient data to improve early detection and protection.
A Growing Urban Crisis

Among IT professionals, prevalence has surged to 84% due to sedentary lifestyles and stress. Liver cancer cases are also rising, with weekly diagnoses nearly doubling.
