Stanley students win first prize at ‘National Silicon Labs Challenge’

Final-year students of the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department at Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women (Autonomous), Abids secured the first prize along with a cash award of Rs 5.00 lakh at the “Silicon Labs Edge Intelligence Challenge.”   

 The winning team comprising Dhanyasree, Charitha, and Christina achieved this feat at the national-level competition conducted in collaboration with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) at T-Hub, Hyderabad, on April 16, 2026. 

The team emerged victorious among 9 finalists, who were shortlisted from a pool of 450 teams across the country. The challenge, which commenced in September 2025, witnessed participation from across the country. 

The Correspondent of the college K.Krishna Rao, Principal Dr B.L.Raju  , Dean Dr A.Vinaya Babu  and HoD Dr K.N.Sahu expressed immense pride and congratulated the students for their accomplishment.
