Indian Bank inaugurated its second Microsate branch Microsate Vijayawada Branch 2 at the Gandhinagar NRP Road branch in Vijayawada on Tuesday. This new branch is dedicated to supporting Self Help Groups (SHGs) and aims to enhance financial inclusion among women.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Executive Director Brijesh Kumar Singh, alongside Field General Manager Pranesh Kumar and Amaravati Zonal Manager Shankara Rao. The new branch will provide access to various self-help loan schemes and initiatives such as Lakhpati Didi, SHG Gruhalakshmi, and MSME Sakhi, with a focus on empowering women through financial independence and entrepreneurship.
