Regency College of Culinary Arts & Hotel Management successfully hosted the fifth edition of its prestigious cricket tournament, RPL 5.0, at BSR Grounds, Bandlaguda, Nagole. The three-day event brought together nine top hotel management colleges from the twin cities affiliated with NCHMCT and Osmania University.

The tournament showcased cricket as more than a sport—highlighting teamwork, passion, and sportsmanship. Over 380 students, along with staff and organizing teams, contributed to the smooth conduct of RPL 5.0. The opening ceremony featured the lighting of the marshal by Principal P. Ramesh Kumar Reddy, along with alumni and faculty dignitaries.

The final match was a thrilling contest, with IIHMCA emerging victorious by 5 wickets, claiming the title of RPL 5.0 champions. Runners-up honors went to Westin College of Hotel Management. Individual performances were recognized with awards including “Man of the Match” to Y Bhaskar (IIHMCA) and “Man of the Series” to S Vijay (Team Westin). Winners received a trophy and Rs 25,000 cash prize, while both winners and runners-up were given meal vouchers from Novotel Hyderabad Airport, Novotel HICC, and Mercure KCP.
