Independence Day celebrated at Lokayukta office

KURNOOL : The 80th Independence Day celebrations were held at the Lokayukta office premises in Kurnool. Deputy(Upa) Lokayukta Rajini who was present at the event, garlanded the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi and paid tribute to him. He then hoisted the National Flag and saluted the National Flag. On this occasion, She remembered the great personalities who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country.

After hoisting the national flag, the Upa-Lokayukta received a guard of honour by the police personnel and students. Explaining the importance of the Independence Day, she called upon everyone to play their part effectively in the development of the country, public service and protection of democracy. Prizes were given to the winners and runners-up in various sports competitions organized by the Lokayukta office staff.
