CEASEFIRE SURGE | Replenishment exceeds pre-war levels during period of calm: IRGC

Tehran: Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Aerospace Force Brigadier General Majid Mousavi said on Sunday his forces were rapidly rebuilding their missile and drone reserves, emphasising increased operational readiness during the ceasefire period, according to Iran's Tasnim News Agency.

The IRGC Aerospace Force commander stated in a post with footage of maintenance and reconstruction of missile and drone stockpiles that during the ceasefire period, the momentum of replenishing missile and drone launch platforms has even exceeded pre-war levels.

“During the ceasefire period, our speed in updating and refilling missile and drone launch platforms is even greater than before the war. We have information that the enemy is incapable of creating such conditions for itself and is forced to bring in ammunition from the other side of the world in a drip-feed manner,” the general said.

Referring to the defeat of the American and Israeli enemies in their war of aggression against Iran, he added, “They have lost this stage of the war as well! They have lost the (Hormuz) strait, and they have also lost Lebanon and the region.”

‘USS Rushmore blocked ops in Arabian Sea’

The US Central Command has announced that the dock landing ship USS Rushmore is currently conducting blockade operations in the Arabian Sea. Supporting these efforts, the guided-missile destroyer USS Pinckney is patrolling regional waters, while the USS New Orleans, an amphibious transport dock ship, monitors shipping traffic.
