Ireland’s national brand of Irish Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) abroad, Education in Ireland, has announced the comeback of its signature roadshow to India. Set from October 4–12, 2025, the initiative will bring together Indian students and parents with top Irish universities and colleges.
The roadshow aims to showcase Ireland’s globally recognised higher education system and vibrant student life, offering first-hand insights to Indian aspirants. The fairs form a key part of Education in Ireland’s #StudyEmeraldIsle campaign, designed to provide a one-stop guidance platform on higher education opportunities in Ireland. Visitors will also have access to Irish Visa Office officials, who will conduct sessions to clarify the visa application process.
Students and parents will have opportunities to:
Explore programmes in technology, healthcare, sustainability, arts and humanities, business, finance, and innovation.
Learn about research avenues, industry-linked courses, and scholarships.
Gain clarity on post-study work opportunities that make Ireland a launchpad for global careers.
Engage in one-on-one consultations with university representatives and academics.
The event will feature 21 leading Irish universities and colleges, bringing together a diverse mix of institutions. These include Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, University of Galway, University of Limerick, University College Cork, Dublin City University, RCSI: University of Medicine & Health Sciences, and Technological University Dublin. Other participating institutions are South East Technological University, Atlantic Technological University, Munster Technological University, Technological University of the Shannon, and Maynooth University. In addition, the National College of Ireland, Dublin Business School, Griffith College, Independent College, ICD Business School, Dundalk Institute of Technology, Trinity Business School, and OnCampus Ireland will also take part in the event.
Speaking about the fairs, Elizabeth McHenry, Regional Manager - Asia, Education in Ireland, said, “Ireland is committed to offering world-class education in an environment that is innovative, globally connected, and welcoming to international students.
With these fairs, we want to give Indian students and their families first-hand access to our institutions to explore how Ireland can shape their academic and professional futures.”
Ireland has witnessed rapid growth as a preferred study destination for Indian students. In 2024, more than 10,000 Indian students enrolled in Irish institutions, marking a twofold increase over the past five years.
The country’s strong academic reputation, career-focused programmes, vibrant research ecosystem, and post-study stay-back options have contributed to this trend.
