The Janasena Party has now shifted its political focus in Telangana. On Friday, party chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan inaugurated the newly constructed Janasena Telangana State Office in Manikonda, near Malkam Cheruvu. The event marked a significant milestone in the party’s efforts to establish a stronger foothold in Telangana politics. As part of the inauguration ceremony, Pawan Kalyan unfurled the party flag before formally entering the new office premises amid Vedic chants performed by priests.

He paid tribute to the “Telangana Talli” portrait by placing a floral garland, symbolizing respect for the cultural identity of the state. The event witnessed a massive turnout of Janasena supporters, including party cadres, women activists, and senior leaders from across Telangana. Party sources indicate that the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections will be the first major electoral test for the party in the state. Pawan Kalyan has already signaled that Janasena will contest the elections, either independently or in alliance with other parties.

Political observers believe that the establishment of the new office is a move aimed at strengthening grassroots-level organization and preparing the cadre for the upcoming urban local body elections. The party has outlined several key strategies for its expansion in Telangana, including strengthening committees from the village level to the state level. The office is expected to serve as the central hub for formulating the party’s political roadmap in Telangana.
