The Kaleshwaram Project Inquiry Commission has reportedly taken a serious view of the Telangana government's repeated failure to submit cabinet minutes from the previous BRS administration. In a strongly worded third letter, the Commission expressed its frustration over the state's inaction, questioning how many times it must write to get a response.

Despite two earlier communications—following testimonies by engineers in open court and statements by IAS officers—the government has not provided the requested information. The latest reminder comes in the wake of a recent statement by former CM K. Chandrashekar Rao, prompting the Commission to reiterate its demand.

Sources indicate that the current government is likely to discuss in the cabinet whether or not to release the minutes to the Commission, highlighting the political and legal complexity surrounding the issue.
